Guild Meeting

I've been weaving for over 25 years now, having started when I married into a weaving family. I love knowing the history of those who came before as weaving is a tactile connection to every weaver that ever picked up a shuttle! I work at the Gaelic College where all things Scottish prevail....and tartan of course is big! Designing, weaving and appreciating tartan have become a mainstay in my life.

In the session coming I will talk about the story of tartan, my personal history with tartan, and the process to design and register a tartan.
